What an achievement from the DriftKid and his Team. 5th place for the National Series Championship of Australia and after only doing 3 of the 4 rounds. DriftKid placed 4th in round 4 of Australian Drifting Grand Prix and this Barbagello track was extremely tough on the ute.
With only a handful of points between 5th and 3rd place in the national series, we are confident in saying 3rd place would have been his standing in the series ladder board if he had travelled to Tasmania earlier in the year for round 1.
It was and always is an amazing event at ADGP - These guys just know how to run a smooth and fair competition. With Luke Fink winning the 2011 Series and Rob Whyte taking this 2012 series, 2013 WILL be the DriftKid series.
After only having the V8 Aussie Ute for 10 months, Nick has excelled in his Driving ability and control on the track and with the switch from Federal Tyres to the Achilles, its been a real game changer.
So fantastic driving all year Nick. !!!..
With only 2 rounds of the Short Track series left and the finals of Stadium Drift Australia this week end in Gouldburn, the 2012 season is winding up.
