Hot and sticky, dusty and smokey but a terrific day with an absolute welcomed outcome for the DriftKid and Team JNC. Stadium Drift round 6 has been and gone and we took home 2nd place.
Archy is such a tight track for any driver to drift around, but for the DriftKid, his work was really cut out for him on this track due to the heaviness and the length of the Aussie Ute. Crowds were terrific and Team JNC made sure we handed out 20 of the well known DriftKid freebie bags packed full of goodies from our amazing sponsors.
As you will all notice, we were wearing our newly added sponsors for the remaining 2012 series this weekend - Ultimate Subaru Spares and Moonah Auto parts Recyclers so show your support to these companies as they do to us. Motorsport Drifting does not come cheap and it is companies such as these that keep the Professional drifters in the Drift Seasons.
DriftKid is now placing 4th of the Stadium Drift Series Ladder and with 1 round to go in Wakefield (DriftKid's best podium Track) and with the kid in the running for 3rd place, we are pulling all the stops out to get that 3rd place trophy for the 2012 series.
Don't forget, Australian Drifting Grand Prix is only a few weeks away and the DriftKid is chasing 3rd in this series as well even though he has only competed in 2 of the 3 rounds..So get your flights to Perth organised and we will see you there.
