Round 5 FINALS, is just around the corner on Friday the 21st August. DriftKid had a few mechanical problems over the past few weeks including a water pump and he snapped his K-Frame cradle. Thanks to Option 1 Garage for the replacement K-Frame FREE I might add - Good on you Paul - and of course thanks to Bermay Automotive for all their Fantastic work CONSTANTLY on the DriftKids skyline.
Don't forget that the comp is the last round of the SuperCheap Drift Shootout this year and lets all rally behind DriftKid to come first and to hopefully sneak his way up to 2nd place in the Series Championship. Action starts at 6.30 so bring your yelling voice.
The small comp that was on Wednesday night held by Option 1 Garage was a Drifting team effort and DriftKid teamed up with another youngster Daniel - Nick's Drifting buddy and Cousin. He shows real potential out their on the track and certainly held his own on the comp with DriftKid trailing his bum for 3 runs and only NEARLY lost it on the last corner. The Kids (Team name - Team Illegal as they are both under age) lost by 1 point coming 2nd and Dan Jorgensen and his team mate took 1st place.
