30 out of 30 for his learner test and so he should. DriftKid has developed some bad habits drifting I might add. All day we drove around Brisbane Wednesday as it was his first time ever driving on the roads and not on a track and all day I told him to slow down because he was speeding. 2 or 3 k's over the speed limit is not speeding DriftKid replies. I also found he braked to late as I found myself pushing on the brake pedal in the passenger seat which is what he does on the track. Corners he takes at 60 k/p/h and hangs his arm out the window just in case there is a photographer lurking around the corner..LOL..
But I have to say, DriftKid is a very confident and capable driver on the road and I feel he will have his 100 hours up in just a few months. Does anyone know if we can class track time in his driver log ???? Wouldn't that be great... I don't think the government would class Drifting as driver training or experience but at some level they should. I think DriftKids track time and experience will make him a better driver with a lot of defensive driving skills under his belt and I for one am relieved he has been able to learn these defensive tactics.
So Happy Brithday DriftKid and Stay safe whilst driving.
