Nick Wins Round 5 of Stadium Drift Australia

Nick takes back to back Victory in Stadium Drift's Repco Pro Tour.
With the win in round 4 & now round 5, Nick sits in 3rd place for the series after only competing in the last 2 rounds.

The day started great with Nick taking the number 1 Qualifying spot.
1st battle was with fellow Queenslander Kris Frome in his V8 Powered R34 Skyline. It was great to see these 2 LS Powered machines blazing the track.

Next up was Mick Rosenblatt in his newly V8 powered R32 Wide Body Skyline. The judges couldn't pick a winner & a re-run was called & after a really close battle Nick was awarded the Win.

The Final battle came down to Another V8 Powered Skyline, this time it was N.S.W competitor Gavin Edwards & current series leader.
This was always going to be an epic battle & the crowd wasn't disappointed. Right from the first corner these two guys didn't let each other out of arm's length the whole track.
The judges couldn't pick it & a re-run was once again called. On this lap Nick went all out & with his superior grip from the Achilles ATR Sports2 tyres & a bit of tweaking on the Electronic Dampening Force Controller (EDFC) of the TEIN Coilovers he was able to pull a slight gap.
On the chase run Nick stuck to the door of the 32 Skyline & didn't let go making sure the judges decision would go his way.

The VE ran Flawlessly all day & it was great to really stretch its legs on this big track with the newly built 6.8lt Stroked engine by Hi-Torque Performance.
