DriftKid Represents Australia
in the Tectaloy International
Drift Challenge
It was an AMAZING day on Wednesday when the DriftKid
was announced by SuperLap as one of the Australians
who will be representing Australia at Eastern Creek in August
for the Tectaloy International Drift Challenge.
Not only will Nick be one of the Aussie's putting on a show but he will also
be unveiling his new look widebody skyline, not to mention
on competition night - turning 18.
What a way to celebrate your 18th birthday.
Team JNC have now had the car in make over mode for 3 weeks now
with the inside being gutted and repainted - roll cage inserted and new dash fitted
to complete the inside. It is now up to it's outside transformation with the new paint colour,
new bonnet and wide body kit coming from the UK,
new wheels and very limited few decals.
Martin Coulson (Team JNC Manager) has had a list as long as his arm to try and
have all contractors, parts and the DriftKid falling into his production line of having the skyline
transformed and ready for the unveil at World Time Attack in Sydney.
You just never know, we may also have a new look manager (Stressed Bald Manager)
to go with the Skyline new look. But one thing is for sure, Martin and Craig (Pit crew Leader) have had their patients tested with this revamp and I am sure can't wait for the finished product.
And I know, as a spectator of this revamp, Martin and Craig I am sure thought they were both beyond the age of having to be hands on participating as much as they have. But as they say, do it right the first time and it will last a life time and these boys have manually worked their guts out for 3 weeks.
