With the 2nd Round held on Sunday at Archerfield, it is definitely putting the pressure on the DriftKid squaring up against the Australian Pro Drivers. All though we have taken this small comp on for practise for the DriftKid to slide against the Pro Drivers, and get his feel for the competitiveness against them, Nick seems to be ranking mid way in the Pro Drivers after 2 rounds which is pretty dam good for his first real Pro Driver comp.
Nick has the new suspension put in this week which will hopefully stop him bogging down in corners like he did with Danny (RockStar Car) and give him some ummff when driving out of the corners. Nick WON his 1st battle again on Sunday against Josh Coote and was then placed against Danny Kenearly for the 2nd round. WET WET weather it was hard for any Drifter to show their best in this type of weather and as Nick bogged down in the hairpin corner of reverse track, Danny took the win.
Daniel in the L2 level WON his 1st round and lost the 2nd due to hand brake failure which was a real shame as he was placing 2nd in the series comp for L2 with Levi placing 1st. But as Daniel did not place in the top 8, it will need some fierce driving to make up the points for the series final. You can do it Dan !!!
