Round 1 was last Sunday at Archerfield where the DriftKid came back from schoolies to Drift.
I was even half expecting a call in the Morning saying he was not able to make it as the Nite before was the first nite of Schoolies and as Nick had been waiting and planing all year for this week, I was surprized he showed up in as good as condition he was. Only after have 2 hours sleep and I dare say a bad belly from the nite before, Nick WON battle 1 against Scottie Maiden and on Battle 2 was against the Stadium Drift Pro tour winner Josh Boettcher.. Nick had a spin at the hair pin and did not recover.
Nizzpro put on a great comp with great prizes but I was a little confused at the way the battles were run and how the Judges - Judged some battles. But Round 2 will be next Sunday the 5th of December and by then I am hoping the Kid is back in fine form ready to take on the Pro boys in his first series.
Congrates to Dan Rassell. He did some awesome drifting in the L2 comp and really showed that he is someone to watch out for. Well done mate. Keep it up !!!
