SUPER SUNDAY
What a fantastic HOT day out. Some real talent turned up for
this event including the DriftKid.
Stadium Drift/Race line ran a great comp and had a huge turn out as well. L2 and Pro was the steal of the show. To cut to the results for you, DriftKid qualified 1st with an AMAZING score
of 99 out of 100 and the nearest competitor was scored 88. All though DriftKid qualified high, it was not straight forward drifting with a few stuff ups on track. When it came down to the top 4 qualifiers, Nick battled and won so he moved on to battle for 1st or 2nd place. 1st battled (picture above) scored a 5 all with Nick as the lead car. Battle 2 as the chase car had a hiccup as when he got to the start line, DriftKid's laps of concentration (16 year old day dream I suppose) and missed the green light and was late from the start line. His competitor with 10 meter jump on the start line, DriftKid struggled to catch him and lost on proximity.. DriftKid place 2nd overall. Fantastic out come for Team JNC whom entered the comp with some shiny new decals with his new sponsors.
A1 Nissan Wrecking - ChipTauque - NPC - GM Auto Body Repairs -Fourby's - Bermay Automotive - Craigs Custom Wiring - Inglis Auto Decors and a new Tyre sponsor about to board the team as well. Next comp, which is the 1st Round of Stadium Drift is in Tamworth and we wish Team JNC and the DriftKid luck. 1st please this time mate ......
